The Stuart 10V is the most popular engine in our range. The attractive design, and the fact that it can be built on a 3 1/2 in. lathe, make it an ideal project for the novice.

To assist the beginner the book "Building a Vertical Steam Engine" is available. It describes in detail the machining of all the components, and is full of advice for the more challenging operations.

Please remember our sets of castings require the use of a lathe and milling machine to turn them into a working steam engine.
